Hotel Solis is a well-worn hotel with a fantastic location. They could do some sprucing up. We really didn't care about that as much as the location. It's a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and 5 minutes to the Forum. The staff was helpful and nice.
The hotel was extremely accommodating. Had awesome recommendations for dinner from staff. Bar/ restaurant staff went out of their way to make is comfortable and give us the full experience! Location is great because it's out of all of the loud city noise but close enough to get to all the cool spots within - 15 min walk. Will definitely stay here every time we go to Rome!
The hotel is located on a quite residential street. The roof top garden is lovely . The room quite nice, mattresses could have been a bit more fluffy. The breakfast was ample. The hotel close to the train station, about a 10 minute walk to the center
This a great Hotel with very helpful staff in the Monti area of Rome. Ideally situated for the sights of Rome only 10 minutes from the colloseum.
Good choice of bars and restaurants in the local area. Rooms were comfortable and a good choice at breakfast. We would stay again
Perfect location with all the Colleseum on your doorstep. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and will be staying here again for my next visit to Rome.
The hotel is in a great location within walking distance from the tourist attractions but far enough away to not be too busy. The hotel staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was on the small side, probably due to the age of the building. really enjoy our stay.

The Ivanhoe hotel enjoys an excellent position in the centre of Rome, in the Monti district - one of the most …More
Not where you would expect to find a lovely hotel but it's squeezed into a great spot. Lovely rooms, not much of a view even from the breakfast drinks terrace but there's lots of other things to look at in Rome!
The heart of Ancient Rome, all roads led to the Forum. Visitors flock here to walk the streets where Julius Caesar once trod when this was the centre of commercial, political and judicial life. Nearby, the Colosseum, described by Lord Byron as 'the gladiators' bloody circus', is the world's most famous amphitheatre and the most impressive of all Rome's buildings and ruins.
