The staff were friendly and the rooms although a bit dated were still very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is spot on.
Only thing was they did not have an iron. We had to go to the local laundrette.
Stayed for 3 nights here for our stopover in Rome. This is the only B&B we stayed for Italy but comparing it to the other hotel the room are much cozier. Many plus points for which we gave it a thumb up.
1) Close proximity to Roma Termini 5 minute walking distance. Other attractions such as Coloseum were also within walking distance.
2) Lisa and Mariana was waiting for us downstairs when we reach at the main gate to receive us. Mariana also gave us tips and recommendation for walking around Rome. There is a supermarket right beside it.
3) Rooms were big and modern. One of the room was on the side of the basilica while the other 2 room was on the quiet courtyard side. The aircon was also working....not like those in hotel where they regulate the temperature in cold weather.
4) We had free access to the dining area at night where we had takeaway food. Nice place to gather and chit chat. There is also vending machine for drink and snack.
Overall a pleasant experience and if we were to go back to Rome we will definitely come back here.
"very nice view.everything was close to the hotel."
excellent service.friendly staff they solved thd problems immediately.they knew i have a birthday and one cake was waiting for me at the hotel room with the wishes card.they make my day! at the reception give us a map and direction to do sightseeing!we had to leave early morning to get to the airport and they made a takeaway breakfast box for us because it was too early to have a breakfast at the hotel.we had a wake up call as well to make sure we not going to miss the plane.Overall amazing experience
This hotel is well situated and everything is within walking distance. We had the suite and it was perfect! There was a great comfortable bed, sofa, dining table, TV and a little kitchen with all necessities. The bathroom was spotless and very modern and the apartment had daily housekeeping. The concierge was very helpful, provided us with a map and pointed out all popular tourist attractions.
The heart of Ancient Rome, all roads led to the Forum. Visitors flock here to walk the streets where Julius Caesar once trod when this was the centre of commercial, political and judicial life. Nearby, the Colosseum, described by Lord Byron as 'the gladiators' bloody circus', is the world's most famous amphitheatre and the most impressive of all Rome's buildings and ruins.
