"The location of this property is amazing. Literal steps from the Royal Mile and a fantastic pub right next door. Rooms worked well and were clean, and the kitchen provided essentials for anything you’d need. Definitely recommend! "
"Outstanding apartment. Comfy bed, large bathroom with great shower and tub. Lots of artwork around. Excellent location close to stores and restaurants and the Picardy Place tram stop. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh."
"The staff were very helpful with any questions that we had, as well as the hotel was comfortable and being able to stay in a building with the history it had was a great experience."

"Perfect location. So many attractions and restaurants are walkable and it is on the bus line for everything else. The staff was amazing. The room was great; the bed was really comfortable. I just wished the shower had better pressure. We also enjoyed the bar, which participated in the Fringe Festival and had a show."
"Excellent property. No air conditioning or way to regulate room temp except a barely open window. The noise is big until 2 am because several bars across street and castle has military tattoo. Comfortable and adequate. They clean well but when we checked in the outside of our toilet had a small smear of stool. Thank goodness we had Clorox wipes"
"This facility is a most unique establishment, capitalizing on its early history as something other than a hotel and/or hostel. Applying a great sense of humour to the accommodation was also enjoyable."
"The location is very convienent for the Royal mile and Edinburgh Waverly. Breakfast was good (continental with more options) but slightly pricey since we added it on. We were lucky that we were able to get right into our room at 9 am (which we didn’t expect but they had one open), It is clean and pretty with a comfortable bed. I would stay again."
