"An excellent hotel and the staff make you feel so special. There is always a warm welcome. Some of the rooms are a little tired but we still love the aura of this place. The breakfast is lovely. Such a shame its closing for 2 years. Will miss it and its staff."

Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa

Crabwall Manor Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"Beautiful place to stay and relax for a night or two. The pool, steam room and sauna were lovely and buffet breakfast top-notch!!! (although coffee machine a bit naff- barely lukewarm drinks every time). My room had no outlook, just skylights so it felt a bit stuffy but for the budget price I paid that's fair. No shower door so the floor got very wet! Someone removed my towel from the poolside so I had only a face towel when I went back to my room. This was pilling and leaving masses of white fluff everywhere so I had to shower again and then air dry, not ideal! Super comfy bed and a great night's stay overall. Would 100% come back! (a biscuit in the room would be nice though ;)"

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection

10/10 Excellent
"Lovely luxurious hotel with lots of beautiful areas to sit in. Gorgeous outside area of the suns out. Straight opposite the railway station. We had breakfast at the pub on the opposite corner which worked out cheaper. Only downside is the parking but there was plenty of spaces at the front of the hotel where you can park free for 20 minutes and pop in the hotel with cases. There is a sign at reception to scan the QR code and put in the location and pay for the parking online. The car park is through the archway and cost is £17 for 24 hours on a Sunday. The walk into town is about 15 minutes but if you come out of the hotel and go left and then left again you will come to the canal which is nice to walk alongside into town. Chester is beautiful and well worth the visit."
