"Home away from home"
Used a 1 bed top floor last week whilst away on work and have booked again for my future trips. For me it's a much better alternative to hotels. I only needed parking overnight which there was plenty on the roads and it felt safe enough. I've seen some comments about students making noise but i barely noticed a thing. For the money I think it's difficult to beat.

"Comfy apartment close to all amenities"
Spent a comfortable four nights in this well appointed apartment. Beds were good, if a little narrow for two tallish adults. Sitting room and kitchen area were well furnished and equipped. Two bathrooms were a boon. Two minutes walk from the bus station, taxi rank and bus stop for the most popular town circuit buses. Our apartment faced onto the garden at the back of the building - there may have been more traffic noise had we been facing the street. Seagulls join in the dawn chorus, so no alarm clock needed!

"Lovely base from which to explore Bristol. "
This is so centrally located, you can walk just about anywhere. Quiet location, and informal style of guest house, but what really made it for us were the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. I would certainly recommend to friends.

"Overpriced"
The good side was the customer service. Excellent. All the staff were friendly and efficient. I had a single room, which was very small, OK for 1 night but no longer. The single bed had a double sized quilt, which was very heavy & uncomfortable, especially as it was a warm night. The shower was very poor. Breakfast was expensive,£15, but both the buffet and choice of cooked food was excellent, just I couldn't possibly do justice to it. There was no a la carte, so it was all or nothing. The tea was served from a flask, which was disappointing, I always look forward to a freshly brewed pot of tea in the morning.

Lovely period cottage with plenty of charm. Gardens a delight. If you intend to use this lodging because of being close to Bristol Airport make sure you book your own taxi. Nice pub within short distance.

"Close to Airport"
We stayed for 1 night to be close to the Airport (my daughter having already travelled for 5 hours down from Holyhead). Easy to find, sign outside says Acorns Old Farm and opposite entrance for work vehicles for the airport. You will hear the planes as you are opposite the runway but it is spotlessly clean and for £65 for a twin room through Expedia, it was a bargain. Personally, I parked my vehicle at the Premier Car Park for my holiday as I like to take my keys with me and know that where I parked, is where it will remain. Packed breakfast is as shown, so topped up at the airport whilst waiting for flight. You will get early risers for dawn flights in any hotel near the airport so suggest earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Read Hotel small print as they only take cash on arrival and add a 4% surcharge to debit and credit cards.
