Despite a busy service, both the chef and server handled everything very well—thank you! We stayed in a triple room which was decent, though there were a few issues. The room was quite cold, with heating that kept turning off. The bath was high to step into, which may be difficult for shorter guests (I’m 5'1”), so a safety handle would help. Additional towel hooks would also be useful. The shower gel bottles were very small, so we had to request extras. Our road-facing room was noisy on Saturday night due to the pub. The area felt generally fine, but like anywhere in London, staying aware is important. There are plenty of nearby food options, with Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market within easy reach. Overall, it met our needs for a short stay. I wouldn’t rule out staying again."

"A great hotel in the heart of Shoreditch. The staff were so helpful nd attentive and nothing was too much bother. If you're studying, they offer a Do Not Disturb offer where you receive £25 bar voucher to use if you're happy for your room not to be cleaned. Beds were super comfy and although we were on the first floor facing the main road, the noise from the street was minimal. Highly recommended!"

"The rooms are very well proportioned with beautiful period features, high ceilings and painted to a very high standard. Having a spacious modern and contemporary kitchen, dining and lounge area and with an extra TV made the experience feel really homely. Excellent value for money as well. The reception staff were very friendly and being located near Bethel Green a five minute walk away meant accessibility to central London by the central line was a 10 minute journey. The location in Tower Hamlets is diverse, multicultural and lively. We felt safe but notice there was a fair amount of social deprivation graffiti and in need of investment. "

"The room was looks like in the middle of renovation. Interiors and how the room was decorated was slightly strange. No double grazed windows so you can hear the noise outside quite loud. No blackout curtains. They were earplugs and eye mask for that. "
