"Exceptional stay. Room was spacious and decor was to a very high standard. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of hot and cold food. Quiet location and would highly recommend. "

"Sunday dinner was excellent, fish perfectly cooked and well presented, chicken tender and succulent with veg and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Desserts sumptuos, all washef down with decent Pinot and Armagnac. Penthouse accomidation is worth the premium for glorious views east and west, space, kingsize bed and bathrooms as well as formal dining space. Service from each and all staff was impeccable."

"Really comfortable stay in a beautiful house. Excellent hospitality and a superb and very generous breakfast. The owners also have a delicious Thai restaurant in Christchurch called the Ship which did absolutely delicious food. Excellent stay would totally recommend. "
