Le Suite Del Barone

Both Paola and Alexandra are super friendly and helpful during our stay. It feels very homey the way they care about the customers. Although front desk only operates in the morning, Paola is very reachable via text message and the check in/ check out process were very smooth with clear instructions. It also located in the perfect location and we had our best meal at Il Corallo, which is right across the street and we ended up went back for a second meal. Totally recommended Le Suite Del Barone!

This is possibly among the best, most welcoming , friendly as well as high quality hotels that my husband and i have ever stayed. The staff were so welcoming, extremely helpful, tactful and friendly - a feeling that couldn't staff do enough for us without being overbearing. The breakfast were truly outstanding, not a buffet ( thank goodness) but a beautiful menu of cooked, or continental food, fressh fruit and oatries and fresly made coffee or tea- all of which you coukd order as much as you...

Hotel Indigo Rome - St. George by IHG

We recently revisited this hotel for a short, three night stay in the middle of what even the Italians thought of as a heatwave. The moment you step into its air-conditioned lobby you know you have arrived at one of the best in Rome - from the concierge to the bar staff, the breakfast staff to the cleaning ladies the staff are exceptional; nothing is too much, service is exceptional and help and advice there when you need it. Nothing intrusive, just there. We stayed in one of the suites...

DOM Hotel

I cannot recommend this hotel any more highly. It is so well located for the main attractions in Rome - 15 min from the Vatican, 5 mins from Piazza Navona, the Pantheon etc. It is a fantastic base for walking all over the city The hotel itself is steeped in history (it is a converted monastery) The decor is beautiful, sumptuous and chic. I found the dining area to be very decadent - a lovely space to eat in. It was simply gorgeous for a romantic break in this amazing city. The rooms...

Last minute 4 night getaway as the beginning of December as the Christmas market was setting up in the piazza - very atmospheric, but still 20 degrees on one day. Great location (just off one of the main piazzas in Rome, with wonderful fountains), 10 mins walk from the Pantheon, and about 15 from the Trevi Fountain, all through delightful narrow streets and small squares. Quirky but great hotel with good rooms (we had a suite), and friendly helpful staff who when out of their way to make us...

Whole week in Rome. Hotel easy to get to - 2 min walk from Metro station Barberini and with bus stops for loads of buses. 4 min walk from Trevi Fountain on one side and Spanish Steps on the other. Coliseum and other famous sites all walkable or a few bus stops away. Fantastic rooms - spacious, aircon, with city scape headboards (unique to each of the 9 rooms). Marble floor throughout, large windows. Our room was to the front on main road - but surprisingly quiet. Lovely choices of room lighting....
