"We had a fabulous stay at the hotel. The room is spacious and also had a sliding door separating the beds from the sink and bathroom and shower. The hotel provided pajamas, slippers and robes as well as complementary mineral water. Check-in was super easy. The front desk staff was very helpful, they spoke excellent English and helped us to schedule a cab to pick us up at 3:30 in the morning to head to the fish auction at the central market. "The hotel is professional. Check in and out was easy and fast. The room is clean and tidy. But i didnt get the king or queen bed, so the sleep wasnt comfortable because we had to move 2 beds close. "I had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis! The staff was super accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! The premises were clean and so was our room. "Staff and service great! A little overpriced for the rooms and unless you can book the special rooms the pictures can be deceiving! We were definitely not wowed by our room! Onsens were okay but nothing to brag about! And you have to pay extra to use the onsens … dinner at restaurants was great quality but overpriced! The reviews all show it to be very luxurious but it’s just a normal hotel….staff was very helpful and accommodating but the area is quite boring! "

"There is no better place to stay in Kyoto. The location is SUPERB. The hotel is the most magical place. If all of that was not enough, Yuriko at the the concierge desk provides the most exceptional level of service I have ever encountered. Stay there just for the concierge services. Cannot say enough good things about this property, the entire staff is fantastic, but without a doubt, Yuriko takes the cake!"

"Very nice hotel! It was so clean and new, and was just great. It was very nice to have a kitchenette and washer/dryer. Also a pretty good location, 10 mins walk to popular gion area. Only complaint would be that there was no front desk staff, it was virtual, so when we put in a request for an extra pillow, it took 3 hours for them to respond only for them to say they couldn't give us an extra pillow."

"Each unit is its own floor. This enabled for optimal privacy. It was clean and the unit looks exactly in the picture. Accessible to the Namba station. A supermarket is close by and so are convenience stores. Lots of places to eat at and Namba Parks is also nearby. You can explore the local area on your way to Dotonbori and find hidden gems. Denden Town is also only a few blocks away if you are interested in what it offers. Overall very glad we stayed here."
