This is the second time I stayed at this hotel and it is still run efficiently. The hotel staff helped me with filling in the forms for tankyubin (shipping luggage back to Tokyo). Breakfast buffet in the hotel was good with a nice selection to appeal to any nationality. This hotel is well situated near Shijo subway station. The room was large, modern and very functional. It looks exactly as in the pictures. Staff was nice and helpful. I was very pleased by the quality of this hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.
This was a last-minute booking but very happy with this reservation. The hotel is located near the major bus stops, so it was easy to see the major temples and shrines in Kyoto. The hotel staff has great maps on which bus routes to ride and where the stops are located.
The hotel is very clean and quiet. My room had two single beds, and it was appropriately sized. I stayed in the ladies' floor and was pleasantly surprised to see a cosmetics set in the bathroom and a beauty steamer on the nightstand. The cosmetics set had a mask, cleanser, and lotion, and it was such an upgrade from standard hotel products. It was fun using the beauty steamer and giving myself a mini-facial. The room was also clean and felt recently renovated with new paint and furniture.
I would recommend the hotel and likely stay within this chain on my next Japan visit.
From checking in to checking out our experience at this hotel was wonderful. The staff was most accommodating and helpful. The location is wonderful. We were very close to the subway and were also able to walk to many locations. They also have a complimentary shuttle bus to Kyoto station. The room and breakfast option was great. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
