We booked same day and were greeted by manager who gave us a quick intro to suite and the neighbourhood. Very friendly staff. Asked for restaurant reservation for the evening and they set us up with a great fine dining Yakiniku place. Our rooms were amazing, all amenities high-class and hight tech from top to bottom. Complimentary minibar, and snack in the kitchen. 24h supermarket nearby, staff did some shopping for us. Panoramic views from the living room. Outstanding experience - so glad we came. We got a complimentary upgrade to executive river suite. Molto chic, very nicely furnished and unbelievable details, spotless clean. Beds perfect, tech like TVs and speakers high-end. Location is by the Kamo river delta. Lots of fine restaurants around which the concierge booked for us on short notice. Michelin one and two star dinners. Well done. Our suite had panoramic views over the river and higashiyama mountain ridges. Beautiful decoration, great taste. I stayed at the usual 5-star hotels all my life. This was truly the next level. Will come back with the board for company trip. Thank you to Rio and all the staff.

Kind service and beautiful atmosphere. Returning for the third time here. Has a homey feel and great dedication from staff. They booked restaurants, train tickets and transportation. Our suite was ultra clean and beautifully decorated. My wife appreciated the fresh flowers and complementary mochi and champagne. Rooms have google tech, voice control TVs, lights, and aircon. Nice touch. Washing machine in the room, staff was so kind to iron clothes. Luxurious getaway with beautiful view, great attention to detail.

My second stay here. Manager upgraded me to panoramic view. Again, amazing Michelin star restaurant reservations for lunch and dinner. Early and fast check-in (less than a minute), super clean, modern, classy. Great space. Staff did some grocery shopping for me as I had a tight schedule. They also booked my Shinkansen tickets and driver for half day. Washer-dryer in suite, Maru was too kind to run it while I was away. Beautiful!

Amazing Stay and What a view

This place is just amazing in every way. The view from our room overlooking the kamo river is very picturesque. The layout of the room is very well designed and the room is huge and tastefully decorated. The location is close to the subway and minimarts. Love the microwave, the 2 televisions, and the washing machine. Highly recommend!!

Staying at Kamo Residences was an absolute pleasure. Check-in was quick, and the place itself is pure luxury—beautiful interiors, a fantastic layout, designer furniture (high-end, solid and comfy). The full kitchen, washer-dryer, and microwave made everything super convenient. Room cleaning 3 times per day, plus bed turnover while we were out for dinner. Beds are high, thick and comfortable, nice support. We asked for harder pillows, no problem. Sheets and bedding silky. Cleanest hotel I have seen - ever. Dinner was arranged by front-desk who set us up with a two star Michelin restaurant the same day, nice! The hotel arranged a great chauffeur and tour guide for us, taking us to Arashiyama and spending half a day exploring Gion (very friendly and knowledgable gent). Breakfast was custom-made for us—a Kyoto-style bento box, hot and fresh. We’re headed to Tokyo now but will be back for a four-day stay next week. Can’t wait to return. Thank you to Rio, Maru and all the other staff.

Such a beautiful setting and property. Our suites had breath-taking views over the river delta. Staff service is very kind and friendly. Modern and stunning interior, everything is superbly usable and gorgeous.
