There’s no shops really near by. There’s also not many food options but the few that are near a very good. They might be rated lower then most but there flavor is great for the price. Your room doesn’t get cleaned everyday it’s every three days. Rooms our enough if you plan to stay out all the time. There’s a Lawson close by which is nice. The best part is there’s a station right outside so getting around isn’t an issue.

I stayed in a traditional Japanese Tatami room for the first time, it was a nice surprise! The buffet breakfast included was a very nice gesture. Staff were friendly and helpful - the lift somehow stops at the second floor (front desk) everytime regardless- not sure why!

Good location and right next to a train station. Many good restaurants nearby. Room was quite cozy, especially the bathroom. Clean, provided fresh towels daily. Room was a bit smaller than I expected, but that might have been my mistake in booking the wrong type. Very convenient location (right next to Gojo Station Exit 8). All the staff were are very nice and helpful. Coin laundry is on same floor as the reception so it was a little awkward to have to walk past the front desk each time. There is also only elevator so it's a bit inconvenient to use. But overall, it was a pretty nice hotel.
