"Exceptional hotel"
Wonderful ambience, great staff, exceptional cooked breakfast and fresh fruit. Only comments are that the ensuite bathroom was a bit tired, but functioned perfectly. Also there was no fridge in the room.

"Traditional, warm hotel and eaterie"
What a wonderful stay we had at this lovely hotel in beautiful grounds at the back. The reception staff and restaurant/bar staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful; the bedrooms are lovely; the food is delicious. Richard was particularly helpful and courteous taking our food orders and being very efficient in helping to make certain my holiday was food-allergen free. The chef is to be commended in creating scrumptious food. One of the reception staff carried our luggage and Kelly offered to carry our luggage when she happened to see us on our way. Thank you all so very much.

"Gorgeous - will be returning."
Had a wonderful weekend stay here with my partner. The room was wonderful (although too hot at night due to heated towel rail staying on - had we stayed for more nights I'm sure we could have had it switched off) and the bed was so comfortable. The pool and sauna were great and not busy at all, and our treatments by Stephanie (facial and hot stone massages) were amazing and good value. The only let down for me was a lack of choice of vegetarian meals - there was only one, cheese based, main course that I could have and breakfast was tomato, egg, mushrooms, beans and hash browns. It was all tasty and good quality but would prefer more options. My carnivore partner said her meal was one of the best she'd had. Will definitely be returning :)

"Fine for an airport hotel"
The Arora is certainly a reasonable place to stay if you need to be close to Gatwick airport. It seems to be getting a bit older and worn over time (I have been staying there for about ten years), but it is still OK. The one thing they have done is to improve the quality of the internet service, which has improved to about 2 megabits/second when it is not too busy. Everything else is about the same, but getting older. It could do with some refurbishment.

"Hotel close to South Downs Way."
After finding a member of staff to check us in, we were led to our room, which was initially OK. Before too long, we realised the room was located above, or extremely close, to the kitchens below and the noise was very apparent and constant and really made our stay less peaceful than we hoped for.
