Chichester Golf Club is just two miles away from Chichester on the B2145 in Hunston Village. It's easily accessible from Portsmouth, the A3, A27 and off Junction 10 from the M25. With its driving range, two 18-hole championship courses, a feisty little 9-hole short course, and an 18-hole Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf course, it's perfect for families, beginners or more serious players. And with plenty of West Sussex hotels and B&Bs close by, even if you're not a 'local' then it's easy to make the most of this top quality course on a short break or longer holiday.
Great for Playing
Of the two championship courses, the Cathedral course has narrow fairways, ponds and streams to challenge the more advanced golf player while the Tower course is somewhat easier with large greens and generous fairways. The 9-hole short course is a Par Three and, with holes ranging from 85 to 115 yards, it's great for beginners or those who wish to brush up on their short game. There's no need to book and no dress code either, all you need to do is turn up! All the golfing equipment you need to play a round is included in the price.
The wheelchair accessible Jungle Paradise Adventure Golf Course is a themed course that's open seven days a week from 9am until sunset. Players have to negotiate a number of fun obstacles including desert islands, caves and waterfalls. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden gorillas and tigers, a crashed plane and a spraying elephant! Players need to use a raft to complete the course too so expect to get a little bit wet. You can even play FootGolf at Chichester Golf Course. Play 9 holes with a size 5 football by kicking the ball into oversized golf cups in as few shots as possible.
Great for Relaxing
Afterwards, why not relax in The Clubhouse, which was originally a traditional Sussex farmhouse that has been lovingly converted. It also caters for meetings and wedding receptions. The Cathedral Suite can cater for up to 60 people, has great views over the golf course and comes equipped with AV equipment so is ideal for conferences. The food is also excellent, great value and freshly prepared by in house chefs. So whether you're visiting Chichester on business or on holiday make sure you step outside your West Sussex hotel and spend time at Chichester Golf Club for a great day out.
