The breakfast menu was wide and the food was plentiful: an omnivore and a vegan, we were both well catered for. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good for Temple Meads station & the river."

Would have been lots of choice if they could keep up with the top ups but some greedy people took more than they needed which meant things ran out quickly. Was an extremely busy weekend. We would definitely stay again when in the area. Lovely bar. Didn’t use leisure facilities. Nice addition having a Starbucks on site. "

"What a beautiful place, so full of character, we went for our anniversary and was upgraded to a room within the mansion, we even had an anniversary card and the towels were shaped into a pair of swans on our bed. service was great and the food, couldn't fault anything, will definitely go back"

"This hotel is in a very convenient location to the train station and old town. Easy walk in just a few minutes. The room was very quiet and had amply space for a one night stay. It was as ok clean "

"Overall experience was good except for the extra cot they had put in the family room. Only because it was supposed to be used by a kid they probably thought of leaving it uncomfortable. The mattress on the cot was so so horrible each and every spring in that created a bump and that bump was felt terribly on the back even a kid could not sleep on it. "
