"Easy drive to City centre and best of South Liverpool (Lark Lane, Allerton Road etc) and short cab ride to the airport"

"Lovely old world charm hotel with lovely rooms. Had dinner and breakfast both excellent."

"Fantastic hotel, great staff. Leisure facilities very busy on Saturday afternoon but overall a great experience and stay"

"Room was clean, property could do with updating, it looked a bit tired. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Lovely stay, great staff, really enjoyed the trip."

"Unique and fun hotel, room had nice decor, only a couple of minor things like one of the water glasses was definitely not clean and there were a couple of stains on the bedsheet. 50% off Pepper street car parking also really good!"

"The staff at the reception and breakfast were welcoming and accommodating. Unfortunately the property was old and looks difficult to maintain and the initial room given to us smelt mouldy setting off my hay fever and partners asthma. Reception quickly gave us another room which was better. Shower and breakfast was nice and the stay was overall pleasant."

"Breakfast was ok but not worth £27. Bar facilities also ok but again the most expensive I’ve ever paid for a pint."

"Staff were very nice and kind and food was good."

"Pleasant stay. Great staff. Nice room and breakfast. Love the pool and gym."

"Superb staff really make this place"

"Large clean comfortable rooms. Pool and spa all good for the low cost. Interesting Main building with the church and history. Would stay again if in the area"
