Nice clean room and great breakfast and dinner. Be careful about the way Expedia advertise this hotel. We booked as it had a swimming pool but missed the very very small section 9 scrolls down in the hotel information that there was an additional charge to use the pool, leaving us with an additional bill for £40 for 2 of us for 2 hours. Probably wouldn't have booked here if I'd have seen this. The hotel is nice enough but if you are looking for a hotel with a swimming pool be careful to read the very small print!

The hotel and grounds look beautiful and it’s perfectly located for many things to do in Chester. The room was very clean and equipped with everything you might need. We found the mattress quite hard but that’s maybe our personal preference. The shower wasn’t over powerful either but nothing to complain about. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options and staff were attentive. We would stay again.
