"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."
"The hotel has a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere - the rooms of various sizes are all stylish and the bar / restaurant was good and seemed popular with local residents (good sign). Good value for money."
"Amazing place of such high quality. Stayed before but next door. I his is now our preferred cottage though.
Only down side would be the two single beds. Would have been nice to have had them pushed together as we were two sets of adults "

The Townhouse Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely stay here. Nice welcome at check in and great room. Very comfy bed and room a decent size.
Breakfast was very good. Nice selection on offer and friendly service. Ovation is great and in centre of town.
I would stay here again. "
"Nice welcoming hotel. Family room was lovely, main areas bit tired but character and period style to some extent. Breakfast good, views lovely on the river side. Unfortunate for anyone on the courtyard side still asleep that the recycle lorry emptied all the glass bins at 07:50. But would return. Kelso itself lovely place too. "
"Dryburgh Abbey hotel was wonderful. Check-in was with a person which was nice to experience seeing as many places are now contactless. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the dining areas lovely."
"This could be a fantastic hotel but unfortunately the facilities are very lacking. This hotel doesn’t serve lunch or evening meals as they don’t have a chef yet. As this place is a bit out of the way it wasn’t what we were expecting. We had paid for 2 nights but left after 1. We booked a deluxe room with garden view. Deluxe it definitely was not. The shower cubicle had the previous guest hair on the walls. Not for us and we wouldn’t return. Could be a fabulous place. Hats off to the guy running the place who seems to be the receptionist, cleaner, barman & breakfast cook rolled into 1. "
