"Lovely older hotel, comfortable and quiet - the rooms are well maintained but not fashionable. The bed and shower were fine which is the main thing. Breakfast with a view is always appreciated. Would return."

"This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants.The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes. Apartment 1 is spacious, clean and has everything you need despite the furnishings being a bit dated. Note this accommodation may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the stairs to all rooms. This is a great base for trips to Lindisfarne,Bamburgh castle(Last Kingdom) and abbeys in Melrose, Jedburgh and Kelso itself. Cute shops in Kelso as well."
