"A bit off the beaten track but for me it's better for it. Only real grumble was the soft mattress - a personal preference obviously.
Great place to switch off, unwind and get back to what matters."

Hotel was lovely, room was spacious and very clean. Owners were very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. The owners could not do enough to help you enjoy your stay. Gave lots of information on the local area and would book restaurants etc if you asked. Highly recommend this hotel.

We were staying for a nearby ultra marathon in Jedburgh. The house is incredibly spacious and cosy, just what we needed after running 40 miles in the wind and rain.
We all had a fantastic stay. It’s in a very peaceful area and the hosts are lovely. We will definitely be back next year.

The Townhouse is perfectly located in Melrose's charming centre. It is well-appointed and does a great job catering for guests needs and wishes. It has a buzz of activity that works really well, and the staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and on hand. We'll certainly be back in Melrose and Townhouse will be our intended place to stay. Thanks folks.
