"Lovely stay on the waterfront - parking can be a little tricky to spot the entrance, but once located easy to access.
Nice breakfast and great location. "
"Our stay at the Bryn Eiddon lodge was amazing, the views were unreal and is located in a very peaceful and private area. The lodge has everything you need, everything was clean and functioned perfectly. We loved it (especially our pup) and will definitely be returning!"

"Just WOW! What a wonderful find, and it's a must-visit. The staff, food, service, rooms, and wonderful patrons made this a highlight of my trip to Wales.
This is a little gem, and you must go out of your way to stay and dine in the restaurant. "
"Great stop over for visiting Snowdon, Portmeirion and the surrounding areas. Staff were great. Stayed in the rooms across the road. Would definitely stay again."

Affording magnificent views of the Snowdonia National Park, the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) has for nearly half a century now occupied a seven-acre site in a former slate quarry close to Machynlleth. Easily reached by car or bus, and naturally offering free charging for electric vehicles, a visit here may be among the most rewarding and inspiring you could hope to take in Wales. Note also that the name is a little misleading now, as the centre has switched from focusing purely on alternative technologies to all forms of sustainable living.
Explore the great outdoors at Ynys Hir Wildlife Reserve, a lovely green space in Ysgubor-y-coed. Stroll along the area's seaside or simply savour its top-notch restaurants.
"Fabulous stay as always. Nice warm welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely evening meal. This is why we keep coming back! And also for the Great views!😍"
"Clean single room, great for a few night's stay. Downside: widows do not open (restricted) and it was hot!!! Thank you for a fan. It would be great I the windows were not restricted and I could create a draft to air out the room. Staff were nice, it's just the wait time. Maybe it was my own fault as it was busy. Another thing - there was nowhere to put the backpack/ luggage. Could you please provide a bench or something? It would be a great addition to the room!"
"A warm welcome, lovely room with a view to the sea. Room is modern and clean, just right. Location perfect, a 2 minute walk to the sea front, would stay again."

"Gorgeous room with luxurious bathroom.
Loved the extra touches like posh hot chocolate and biscuits as part of the tea and coffee supplies in room and water, milk and orange juice in fridge in room.
Selection of books to read on shelf and safe for security.
Location is fab. Right in the centre of Barmouth.
Brilliant free car park and gorgeous breakfast."
