"Great location, lovely place too. Super helpful staff with us turning up late in the night. Lovely breakfast the next morning too. The place needs some cosmetic work, but it’s clear they’re working hard to get this done"

Converted Watermill With Beautiful River And Majestic Mountains On Doorstep

"Beautiful and remote location if you love being by running water, don't mind the occasional sheep in the garden and want spectacular views of the valley and mountains either side! The house is lovely - really well equipped and nicely presented. Ideal if you have a large family or need a decent amount of space. It's a great location for hiking (Cader Idris is almost literally on the doorstep!) and the beach at Tywyn is lovely. Ruth was very helpful when we had a problem with a dripping tap - sending Dave the Plumber around asap!"

The Cardigan Bay Guest House

The Cardigan Bay Guest House

8/10 Good
"Loved this place, a small guest house directly on the promenade along the beach front, and in my case with a room overlooking the promenade with a beautiful view of the sea front. Very nice and helpful staff (Sam) asnd a nice small (cafe) and small gift shop. Really lovely place. The room was small for two, with two beds, and a little difficult to negotiate, and the room amenities were very basic. But the place is so nice overall and the location so great, I rate the place 4/5 for what it is (small guesthouse, not an upscale or modern hotel), even though there were drawbacks, I'd certainly stay there again."
