We have a 3 year old toddler & it is supposed to be family friendly however there is a very steep little ladder type stairs to the upstairs loft bedroom with a balcony , which he kept climbing up & leaning over , me & my Parnter both couldn’t relax , it might of been better iff you could of folded the ladder up to stop climbing etc

We stayed in the Cabana lodge, and it was a unique experience. The first impression was, amazing. The setting is truly extraordinary, surrounded by forests with waterfalls and streams and with mountains overlooking. Breakfast, room cleaning and fresh towels were provided by the hotel and yet we had all the benefit of a self catering holiday allowing us to cook if we wanted to. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and kind, going out of their way to help our family (One night we needed some butter and they brought it to our lodge in the pouring rain). I would highly recommend.

Not quite as expected
Overall a nice stay, but not quite what we expected. The hotel is as described, but it is a minor part of a massive static caravan park and as a consequence, the restaurant and bar were almost unusably buzy. On arrival we tried to get a seat in the restaurant on any of the 3 nights we stayed. Impossible betwee 5 and 9 due, presumably, pre booking by caravan guests. Ditto queuing for a drink in the bar. Rooms comfortable, no lift, so be prepared..
