St. Ermins Hotel, Autograph Collection

Caxton Street 2, London - Map
St Ermin's Hotel is a hotel made in Heaven! Picture perfect on the website, immaculate grand lobby with the classy white staircase. We arrived early, had breakfast in the hotel, then off we walked to Westminater Abbey. Walking distance to all the attractions, not to mention very close proximity to St James Park underground station. All the staff was very accommodating, making sure everything was excellent. Except for that one person in the lobby that first night, whom I asked to take our picture on the immaculate staircase. He was not happy at all, and did not take a good picture. He was the only exception! We had buffet breakfast everyday except when we had to go Paris- excellent staff especially Thomas, who was very kind to suggest places to go to. Dinner was sumptuous, not to mention the dessert. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable, robes soft to touch. The streets are very clean, with no garbage bins in sight. Not to mention, no homeless person on the street and not a single rat underground. Would come back and recommend St Ermin's Hotel to everyone planning to go to London!!!!!

Pocket Guide: London Victoria Marriott Hotels

Home to some of London's most famous institutions —the Houses of Parliament (Big Ben), Westminster Abbey, and Tate Britain— Westminster is busy by day and quiet by night. Buckingham Palace is located across lovely St. James's Park; Whitehall leads to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, passing 10 Downing Street and the Queen's mounted troops at Horse Guards on the way. The streets around Victoria Station offer hotels to suit all budgets.
