"Location, location, location!"
The hotel was of a Motel 6 level. The building was very old and only minor upgrades have been made. Room and sheets were clean. Area of the rooms was small, particularly the bathroom/shower. No air conditioner but a fan was provided, small TV, tea and instant coffee provided in room. Breakfast was bare bones--cereal, white toast & jellies, juices, yogurt, coffee, tea, & hot chocolate. 24-hour desk service was available and we felt safe. Staff was friendly but not as helpful. However, brochures were available about the area--maps, tours, sightseeing, etc. The biggest perk was that it was located within minor walking distance to bus stops and Victoria Station--trains, subway, and buses. As we did not spend much time in the room, we had no complaints. This was old London! Would we visit them again?? Sure, as the price was right (even though it was expensive!).
