Conveniently located across the street from the Marylebone train station, this hotel was a delightful experience from the moment we were dropped off by our airport taxi, till the moment we left. The staff was attentive and extremely professional, the service superb. Our room was spacious, lovely, and clean, and the facilities were gorgeous. Hotel restaurants were excellent as well, with flexibility for different types of meals- full dinner, afternoon snack, late night dining. We were in town for a 5 day vacation, our first time in London. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended, no downside!
Everything just went right! Great room, awesome view, great location, 2 blocks to tube, great staff! Our air conditioner got very tired and they immediately moved us to great room as well no complaints.....
Our stay at the Marylebone was wonderful. It felt out of the way of the city but was actually at the center of the city and quite close to everything including good restaurants and pubs. As prices go in London, it was reasonable. There are more reasonable places to eat meals, but I stay at a hotel for convenience and comfort and the Marylebone has both. The staff was especially friendly and helpful and when there was a conflict (which I am assuming has been resolved) between what Expedia quoted for transportation to the airport and the actual price, they decided to honor the Expedia price because they wanted us to be entirely happy - I think that was a special thing to do. When I am back in London, I will be staying at the Marylebone!
Durrants is a lovely, small hotel with a lot of British charm. The building itself is beautiful and rooms are well furnished. Staff is courteous, hotel is very quiet, as is the street. Lots of cafes and shops nearby, and close to several tube lines. Only complaint is that the wifi access in the rooms was sometimes inconsistent, but there is a lobby and lounge with strong wifi and ample comfortable seating.
The location of this hotel was the main reason we chose it and it filled our needs. The staff are very pleasant and helpful but we didn't like being charged a 3% service charge on everything we ordered / bought. Although the service charge was optional it was left to the customer to say they didn't want to pay it which is embarrassing.

Really pretty quiet little hotel in a very central location. Handy for the tube. Staff very friendly and helpful. We probably didn't have a room in the best location of the hotel ( next to dining room so noisier when they were gearing up for breakfast) but the standard of the furnishings and cleanliness made up for any inconvenience. Highly recommend this lovely little hotel.
