Hotel is within walking distance to main station. This is not a fancy place, but it has all the all the necessary amenities. The location couldn't be better, right in the middle of the pedestrian zone and just steps away from the Chapel-bridge.
The hotel was in an excellent location, just 3 minutes from the train station. (You could also walk to the train station in about 10 minutes.) Public transportation was right outside the door and ran frequently. Just a quick walk around the corner (about 3 minutes) were many of Lucerne's main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good and filling. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Lucerne.
As a family of five adults and a 3 year old we had a lovely stay at this hotel. We were lucky enough to all have rooms with amazing views over the Lake. The Hotel is lovely and staff very helpful. All our beds were turned down each night and chocolates put on the pillows. For us it was a very special stay.

Nice and clean room. Very good room size. Couldn't hear neighbouring rooms much. Good wifi. No English TV channels. Would recommend hotel. Keep in mind it is on busy area so some nights you may hear loud noises from outside. There is restaurant on main level and they have good breakfast. Would recommend hotel to anyone.

We had a great stay in this hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms (3rd floor) are what you expect in Europe but clean none the less. The location is perfect for all you want to see in Lucerne. There is a good little coffee shop at the end of the street too, excellent bircher muesli. I would stay here again, especially at such great prices!
The room looks clean and it is clean and smells good. The bed is firm and comfortable. The location is very convenient, close to everything including the central train station. I accidently dumped my train ticket to Italy. I rushed back to hotel; they found it which saved me more than $100 and I did not miss the train. The first night when I tried to charge my camera and iPad, I found out the AC adaptor I brought did not work. The hotel staff tried several of AC adaptors and found one for USA devices. Otherwise, how disappointed it would be in such a beautiful place, without pictures to document my trip. The breakfast is very good. Definitely will recommend this hotel.
The hotel is in a perfect location. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and the area to reach the hotel was blocked off. The phone number was wrong. So we drove around and asked and finally found out that there are named car parks. So we found the right one and then walked 3 blocks to the hotel. When we left the area was open and I was able to drive almost to the front door. The hotel is clean and friendly. We had a river view room with a balcony which was heaven. We could watch the world from our room. The back of the hotel is on the walkway of the river with bars and outside restaurants. It is lovely, but at night can be noisy. But they shut down at 11:30pm, then it is silent. The breakfast was a normal good European breakfast (we stayed in 6 different hotels) the breakfast area overlooks the river. There is also a small restaurant in the basement that was great for soup at night. Now I know how to navigate I would certainly stay there again, it was so much fun and right in the middle of the old section. Remember, all European rooms(less than 5 star) have one bottom sheet and a comforter, no top sheet. Rooms are small but I can't expect large rooms in the 500 yr old section of town. the train station is but over a small bridge. Closer than the car park
