spent ages researching and definately made the right choice. The staff are SO helpful, lots of local info, will book a restaurant table, tickets, taxis etc. NOTHING is too much trouble.
The lofts and whole atmosphere is so beautiful, classy, super chic and cool but very friendly and welcoming. A real treat on the eyes when you first arrive! The breakfast was lovely, simple but nice and they seem to get EVERY detail right. I'm very fussy when it comes to accomodation and the vibe and atmosphere of a hotel/accomodation. Honestly, I cannot imagine you would have anything to be unhappy about. Will definatey stay there when we revisit Florence in the future.
BTW, this is my first EVER review but I was so impressed that I felt hard work and dedication in to making it such a lovely experience deserves much praise!

Our whole experience was ruined by the rushed check-in process, where the owner (?) did not seem to have enough time for us. Several times, before our arrival, the owner requested we contact him 15 minutes before we arrived, which we did, and he took 30 minutes to get there. He did not explain how to use the amenities. He appeared to be too busy running his business to take the time to make us feel welcome. He rushed through describing a few things, not mentioning that the Free WIFI did not work. He also did not tell us how to turn on/off: the hairdryer, the kettle, the skylight, the downstairs bathroom light above the sink, the 2 of 4 lights on the deck. (We finally figured out that the hairdryer needed an adapter to fit the outlets. It would have been great if the staff had told us this and provided the adapter.) This can only lead us to the conclusion that the staff who checked us in (owner?) was not proud of his property. The biggest disappointment was seeing a functioning Internet Router in our room and on our iPads, yet not being able to connect to the Internet. When we asked for help he said they were switching providers. How long does it take to change Internet Providers? When we told the owner we could see the router he did not reply at all. We do not understand why we could see a functioning router in our room and on our iPads, yet the owner did not give us a password for it. A most frustrating situation: to see equipment that we can not use.
