"Originally booked for the Beaconsfield apartments but when we went to the hotel to collect the apartment keys they had no info on our booking despite booking it 6 months in advance and said the apartments were out of service. However they had a room in the hotel so we got that ... The staff were brilliant the room was basic but clean my only complaint would be the towels smelt of smoke ( we did bring our own though so that was ok) we were up at the very top so the stairs were a killer so steep...

"My son and I stayed at this accommodation Sunday to Wednesday in January. On Monday morning we realize that there is no heat or hot water, we announce this several times via SMS (the only way to reach them) and only on Tuesday evening do we have heat and hot water. This problem caused us to freeze quite a bit (we had to keep our outer clothes on so we wouldn't freeze) and couldn't shower until the last morning before we checked out. We expected compensation for the inconvenience this created for...

"Disappointing hotel overall. Pretty run down, room was fairly small. Location was good, just a 10 minute walk to the underground station. For me the worst thing was that the hotel advertised a free continental breakfast - well that turned out to be just a couple of boxes of cornflakes and some milk in the room! Got only one cereal bowl as well - apparently to share between hubby and myself. No spoons for it, but got spoons for the tea/coffee so probably just wanted to save on the washing up. "
