Glorious views of the ocean. Delicious meals and cocktails with a local flavour. Charming staff made me welcome. Surfers to watch, warm pools to lie in, warm waves to splash in.
Quiet walks up and down hills near the village. Buses to take and places where one could go for a drink, but I couldn't be bothered. I was happy where I was.

Great holiday with the family , lazing around the pool ,swimming in the nice warm sea - complementary boat trips during the day to swim with the turtles .
Really good complementary wifi in the rooms and on the private beach. The Resort Manager "Jeff" was really nice , as was his concierge Charlene and the Gazebo bar manager Gilbert and Franz ( he's great fun guy , full of positive energy ) .
When we'd had enough of relaxing either Franz or Rico ( another great guy) took us to nearby restaurants and to pick up food supplies . The Yacht Club at Port St Charles was well worth the visit, as was the Lone Star restaurant which we regularly visited as it was up market for us adults , whilst also had a great kids menu for our young children.
What was also good was the readily available use of jet skis from Sebastian at $75 US per half hour ( great fun and half hour chunks worked out just fine when in need of an adrenalin boost ). Complementary use of the resorts paddle boards was great fun also ( the kids had great balance - unfortunately my balance not so good , so I stuck to using the resorts canoe and kayak which I found much easier ) . There was also a platform out at sea that we would swim out to daily and then rest whist laying on the floating platform - "most relaxing".
The best thing of all was meeting Will Smith ( yes , " Will Smith " ) at the St Peters Bay resort , meeting him was just so great as my family and I are huge fans of him :-)

My husband and I stayed at Little Arches in Late September-Early October, 2014. We have cruised all over the Caribbean and stayed at several All-Inclusive resorts, and NOTHING compares to the wonderful experience we had at Little Arches. The staff truly made every effort to make sure your stay was comfortable and relaxing. Any excursion you can think of, they have recommended guides/companies that equally provide a great experience (We've done sea turtle snorkeling before, but the catamaran company they booked us with was excellent. We spent forever in the water with the turtles before moving on to a shipwreck, and the rum drinks were kept flowing). Staff at Little Arches will book everything for you. The Hotel is within walking distance of Oistens (or bike-which is provided) where you can buy groceries to keep in your minifridge or a meal at any of the vendors (which was delicious)...We felt safe even late at night walking around. They also have a roof-top restaurant with picturesque views. Going to the beach, it's across the street - and staff will provide a cooler so you can bring drinks and snacks and they set-up comfy loungers for you. ALL staff (including those at the restaurant) learn your name day 1 which just makes you feel more at home. Sandra and Cheire were the sweetest and went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. The rooms are kept clean and the grounds are constantly maintained. We are already planning our next visit.

A stay at the Sea-U gives you a completely different experience of Barbados compared with the upmarket glitz of the west coast and the all-inclusive fun of the south coast. The island's east coast, and Bathsheba in particular, is wild and unspoilt and Sea-U fits perfectly into this ambiance with its traditionally built wooden buildings and relaxed atmosphere.

We had our family of 5 members this was perfect location down the GAP , right on the beach , a great choice of restaurants, bars and grocery stores in walking distance. There was security guards on property from 6:00pm -6:00am the ONLY way to enter the building was with your room key so therefore felt VERY secure. The villa was tastefully decorated Cyrus did not miss a thing when it came to decorating as well. (smile) Central airconditioning in the bedrooms and living room the kitchen was equiped with all the modern stainless steel appliances and ALL the dishes, pots pans all included, PLUS a dishwasher. We had a 2 bedroom which had 2 full bathes. The property has a pool as well .

Was only there one night unfortunately, Rick the owner really looked after us, saw the monkeys come down into the garden early in the morning. Rick recommended places to go and restaurants and bars nearby, he even joined us for a rum punch. Would be a great place for large family or group of friends to take over the whole place, pool area with music, barbecue, even a dart board.

The staff at Sugar Cane can not do enough for you.
Large rooms are perfect and the scenery is fantastic.
Pool is large and has a bar next to it for convenience and the staff will bring you your drinks if you prefer.
All meals are delicious (tuna sandwhich for lunch is amazing)
I've been a lot of places in the world and Sugar Cane Club Hotel and Spa is in my top 3 for sure.
staff that stood out are Neil, Roy and Ricardo who are bartenders and would bend over backwards to help you. Julie on the front desk who is a delight.
