We had monkeys visit us at the villa a couple of times and it was great to watch them playing in the garden.There is air conditioning in every bedroom and in the lounge and fans everywhere else which was a god send when it got really hot. The house is in a prime location across from Mullins Beach, and is perfectly set up to accommodate a party of 8 (the top bedroom most suited to teens or younger). Bedrooms and bathrooms are well laid out, with air conditioning in all of the former. Fans are in the internal and external communal areas which provide a decent breeze. The kitchen is well equipped, and it is very convenient to have a washer and dryer on the property too. We really enjoyed the updated pool terrace and spent more time in the house this year enjoying the sunshine.The house is convenient for local buses, so you don’t need a car although would recommend for day trips. Good places within walking distance include Sea Shed, Bombas and Adrian’s beach. Lots of great places to discover in Speightstown, a 20 minute walk or shorter bus trip away. Thanks to Wendy and Michelle for taking such good care of us and the property while we were guests and to Sinead and Ian for being such great hosts.
