"After several years of waiting, we were so happy to be back in Barbados for the sun and time with friends. The place met all of our needs, was well stocked, very clean and the view was priceless! We had plenty of room for our group of 6, access to the beach and also a pool too. We love Barbados and ..."
"We had a fantastic stay at Sandals Royal Barbados - can’t understand a lot of the negative reviews. I was a little hesitant to book after reading Hotels.com reviews but didn’t need to worry! "The property was beautiful. The food was delicious. We ate in most all the restaurants and had not one complaint. The staff was by far the friendliest of a lot of other place’s we’ve been. I am looking forward to trying other Sandals resorts."

"The beach is nice and a very short walk away from the hotel and the food is good. Doesn't look as good as the pictures. Kind of old and out dated. i wouldn't call it a resort. 1 pool, 1 restaurant. No place to dance or have live entertainment"

"This is an excellent, small, all-inclusive property - ideal for a short stay/quick get away. The staff are AMAZING!!! So friendly, attentive and personable. The food was all well prepared and tasty; no corners were cut on the quality of the drinks. Options are limited, so a stay over 4 nights, may be boring. Entertainment was a bit limited and mundane and ended quite early. Great location and nice beach."

BREAKFAST, we spend 5 days in the hotel, as a VIP perk they gave us free continental breakfast included in Calabash, the hotel restaurant. If you want something warn, you can add the hot buffet option for another $15 Barbado dollars per person.
POOL. They have a few pools and chairs are in high demand. Facing the beach area, the sun raises east of the pool. So best chairs in the morning are on the west side of the pool. I would go around 7am to put a couple of towels and get the prime chairs to sunbathe latter after breakfast. The towels station opens at 9am every morning. But there are 2 extra pools towels in the room.
LUNCH. Had lunch in the hotel restaurant (Calabash) every day, good decent menu and convenient. You can charge everything to the room from Calabash. They do have another restaurant, i believe the name was Deia Beach. But never went to that one since we coudlnt charge it to the room from that one.
TAXI. There are several taxi guys that seem to work exclusively with the hotel. They have set prices to different areas and are available to be hired to tour the island. First time in years that we decided to not rent a car, and we were able to go out to restaurants, shopping and tour of the island with the hotel taxis.
WiFi. The hotel WiFi is good throughout the property, pool area and even on the beach.
Bring your laptop as the hotel doesnt have a work station for guests.

"This hotel and spa are amazing, and the food is excellent. The staff always went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. A little expensive but the exceptional service makes up for it. I haven’t had a chance to see any entertainment there yet, but I would say this is a great hotel if you’re looking to just relax. If you’re looking for live entertainment, take a nice walk or drive to St. Lawrence Gap. "
