"I received a lovely courtesy call which booked me in to the spa prior to my arrival, unfortunately when i arrived it hadnt been actually booked and was at a time the spa wasnt even open at 7am which was disappointing. The room however was lovely and luxurious. I opted for a room service breakfast which did come late but was tasty and nice too. Overall a good stay but with a few mishaps. Sadly as i was there for business i couldnt attend the spa at the other times offered, but i was offered other...

"Hotel has a car park which is a bonus, the checkin and out was easy and staff were very accommodating. We didnt use the leisure facilities or eat as we arrived late and left early. "

"I like the convenience of walking to many places around. The staff was pretty good. There is a major issue with two things: Quality of the mattress Washing machines were not working. You have only two Peking machines for an entire building. Some are out of order and they are so small that you have to do two loads of laundry. Management or The owner should invest more money to upgrade the room mattresses and the laundry rooms"

"Undergoing renovations but service was good and room was modern and clean. Right next to the train station and within walking distance of many pubs and restaurants. Great price probably because of the renovations. God choice for us!"

"Nice hotel in a brilliant location in the very pretty Chester centre. If you fancy a nice meal out there are loads of choices in the town, plus plenty to walk around and enjoy. In addition you're next to the roman amphitheater and the grosvenor park which is lovely for a walk or a short jog. Parking is in the multi storey car park on pepper street and is 1/2 price if you tell the hotel, but the spaces are very small (not ideal if you have a big SUV). There are other car parks available. "

"Great location and the public spaces are great. Rooms are beginning to get a little tired, particularly in the bathroom where fixtures and fittings were broken. Staff friendly, although some bar staff don't seem to know what they are doing which is a shame. It's one of my favourite hotel spaces in Liverpool, but at its price point it could be better. Note that the automated email sent through Expedia contains the post code to the hotel not the car park as stipulated. "
