“Great location and lovely hotel”
Very pleased that I booked this hotel, came recommended by a friend and glad we stayed. Great location just a little walk to the city centre. Hotel itself is lovely very contemporary, simple but elegant. The dining area is lovely too very open so not good if you want a cosy romantic dinner but lovely surroundings. Had dinner at the London Carriage Works (which is the hotel restaurant) food was amazing would def recommend, service was OK but it was full so have to allow a little for that. Breakfast food was tasty too but service was very slow but we did go in the last hour of service but still you expect them to be prepared for that. Staff around hotel were helpful too and very friendly. Overall would def recommend and if going to Liverpool again I would def go back to this hotel, only downside was parking not included and limited spaces in hotel car park, their are car parks near by but had to pay for day/and overnight charge so worked out expensive for our 3 day/2 night stay.
“We loved this hotel!”
We had a really great time at this hotel, we booked it at 11am and arrived at 2pm and they already had confirmation of our booking. The hotel was very modern but was still very comfortable. The room was a decent size and was very clean. It had all the essentials that we needed. The hotel was in a convenient location for us as we wanted to be within in walking distance of the main shops (Liverpool 1 is 10-15mins walk away) and close to the nightlife (especially concert square - 5mins walk so saved on taxis) We enjoyed walking into the city centre and walked down bold street which we would not have found had we stayed right in the city centre. we would definitely go back and would recommend this hotel to young couples.
“I wish my bedroom was as comfortable as this!”
The rooms are stylish, calm and very comfortable - I had a great night's sleep and the next day there was a fantastic food festival taking place on the street outside - what more could you ask? They do the very best vegetarian cooked breakfast of anywhere. My only slight gripe was that the breakfast staff were hard pushed to deal with the number of guests (there had been a wedding party).
“Excellent hotel”
Great location. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable bed . Lots of decent restaurants near by and one in the hotel. Modern uncluttered bedroomsand public rooms. Have stayed here before and would stay again
“Great hotel”
Have stayed here before and once again I found it quiet and comfortable. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that side, but overall would thoroughly recommend the hotel.
“Liverpool Lovely!”
I visit liverpool every 7-8 weeks and have often seen this hotel available but slightly more expensive than i would normally like to pay. This time though my husband was coming along to so we decided to opt for it. I am so glad we did. It was great from start to finish. Ok housekeeping forgot to leave hot drink facilities in the room but a simple call to reception and they where there within 5 minutes. The same did happen with toiletries but again rectified within minutes. When problems are solved that quick, Its never really a problem!!!!!!! The room upgrade Im not sure about as I didnt see what I was upgrading from! Loved the bed was changed daily.....Crisp, Egyption, cotton sheets... The bar area was really nice although service was slow later on in the evenings. They have a lot of walk ins to the restaurant, staff serve both sides. There is also a residents lounge advertised but when I asked was told its not open at the moment. Out of season!.............Is there a season for a residents lounge? If you dont know Liverpool this hotel is a little out of the centre but dont be put off, you can walk it in less than10 mins and the sights are great. If your not a walker they get you a cab! They will also advise on where to go and even book your reservation. They provided me with services at the local cathedral .Excellent.! This Hotel runs on a par with the best in London. But just remember its a treat..........I will return for sure........
“Lovely hotel, lovely location”
This hotel is clean and quiet, the staff are friendly and the view from the rooms at the back of the hotel are great of the Liverpool sky line. It is close to the University and Philharmonic orchestra with lots of good quality restaurants, pubs and bars very close by. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you can find a cheap deal.
“The place to be”
Clean, pleasant, well decorated, close to downtown but quiet, bathroom is great.
“bellissimo hotel”
