“OK”
I was attending an event at the arena and hotel was directly opposite, so the location couldn't have been better. We arrived late and staff were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the hotel isn't worth the price we paid. The rooms are very basic and the corridors noisy during the night. On our next visit to Liverpool I shall be giving the Jurys Inn a miss.
“Great Hotel, shame about the clientel”
This was a good hotel with friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help. Our only problem with it was being woken at 04.30 by a party in the room opposite, which the hotel struggled to contain and then about an hr later by someone hammering on a door further down the corridor. Several hen parties in the building, which meant that it was noisy. The staff did their best in difficult conditions. Not the place for a quiet break, particularly at the weekend, but clean, good food, and obliging staff.
“Number One for Location”
We chose the hotel for its perfect location. Reasonable price for the rooms, clean and adequate. Meals in are expensive, but we never had any, we prefer to go out and discover somewhere different each night. We had a real fun family trip with tickets for Echo Arena, the hotel was ideal being just steps away. We have been before and all enjoy the Liverpool FC museum, Beatles experience, Albert docks shops & restaurants, cruise up the Mersey, Echo wheel, cathedrals, and loads of shopping. So much culture, and history. We will be back.
“Convenient and good value”
Although the reception staff were a little unwelcoming, the rest of the hotel was a very good choice for us. We were a group of ladies on a reunion and the location and quality of the hotel was just right. It is within easy reach of Albert Dock, lots of very good restaurants and bars and, of course, right next to the Echo Arena. Couldn't be better!
“Good value weekend break”
Excellent location for visiting all major places of interest (Echo Arena entrance only yards away but not busy or noisy) and near to bars and restaurants. Good quality for budget price. Our room on top floor had good view of river, Liver Buildings and Albert Dock. It was quiet, clean, contemporary and pleasant - excellent air conditioning. Bed normal double size - not the most comfortable but adequate. Breakfast very good and well staffed. Multi-story car park next door to hotel at special rates. Will stay again when next visiting Liverpool.
“So so”
Basic hotel, I'd say in the league of Premier Inn and Travelodge. Do not expect anymore. Quite noisy in the night with doors banging and folks talking in the corridors at 3am. Cannot fault the location though, very convenient.
“Very impressed”
This was a very nice hotel; everything worked well, the staff were excellent and the breakfast buffet both hot and cold was superb. i would definitely stay here again
“Jury's Inn, Liverpool”
I chose this hotel for its proximity to the Echo Arena and Convention centre. It also meant that it was quiet as there was only a small Pizza express for passing trade. The environment is quiet, pleasant to walk around and felt safe. The hotel is a straightforward business-type hotel with all usual amenities except a gym. The car park is a short walk away if you have a lot of luggage. The reception area is light, comfortable and a good meeting place. There is easy access to all floors and the rooms are quite spacious with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast is a little hectic at busy times which put me off the second and third mornings as it wasn't included in the price. I didn't eat in the restaurant as there are plenty of good eating places a short walk away. Overall this is a good choice of hotel if this is the location you are looking for, and it is only a short walk from the shops.
“Good Place If You're Attending Conferences”
Car park entrance (for conference centre - hotel doesn't have separate parking) not signposted clearly, although not very hard to find. Essentially get approx. 25% discount on your car parking costs, which is useful. Hotel is extremely well placed for anyone attending the ACC/Echo Arena - literally 1 minute walk. Breakfast, (while not included for me, though you could have chosen to) was reasonable, though a little steep on price for what it offered. The hotel room was great (I got one of the corner triangular rooms that had 1 large window in each of the edge walls giving an amazing view) and clean. The air conditioning equipment worked, but didn't let you go below 19 degrees Celsius and always turned off when you left the room (they rely on the room card in the slot by the door for lights...etc...to work), so the room was always warm when you came back from a day out. There was a big speedboat/car racing event happening around 100 yards away during my stay that was not advertised (neither I or my colleague were informed about it on check-in), but resulted in major traffic disruption (main roads closed so taxis/cars could not get in to the hotel or conference centre car park), and significant noise pollution (as good as the hotel was, I hate noise when I'm trying to rest, and this was even with the windows closed, and knowing this would have probably pushed me into another hotel slightly further away). Random events like this aside, this was an enjoyable stay!
“Excellent hotel”
Very impressed with everything about this hotel. The reception/bar/restaurant areas were of particularly high standard. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
