"We stayed here the night before a very early flight from the airport. The hotel is a little older than some but it is clean and very comfortable It has fabulous facilities in the way of bars and lounges and food to purchase. It was the perfect place to stay before flying out the next day. "

Nicely presented hotel, lovely staff in reception, fabulous location (easy walk from train station, loads of bars and restaurants nearby, easy walk to St James’s Park) and good value for money. "Everybody helpful and friendly. We had a dog with us, and that was not a problem to anyone nice bar to eat in with him. Lovely grounds and view so easy to take dog out for a little walk. Hotel, particularly good for walkers as they were happy to dry their boots in front of the fire overnight for them. Highly recommend it."

"I liked the TV and WIFI, and the bed was comfortable. I found the shower hard to manage. The room was a bit shabby and the noise from the bar downstairs was loud but it all went quiet at 11 when it closed."
