Cornerways

3.0 star property

"Our recent 2 night stay at Cornerways in Ventnor went very well indeed. Linda & Stuart made us feel very welcome and were relaxed and friendly. The accommodation is in walking distance to the seafront and town, so is very convenient. The room had a partial sea view and was spotless. Tea & coffee facilities and TV. The breakfast are optional but were excellent, healthy (muesli, nuts ,seeds and other choices too ) and eaten outside with a view of the sea. It is a peaceful location and Ventnor...

Beautiful and luxurious Seaside Home

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (16)
"We loved the space the seven of us had in the seaside home - even had room for my morning yoga. Great location for getting into Ventnor on foot and Bonchurch beach was easily walkable. Only downside was the road leading to Shanklin, but that was also handy for our day trips. "

Lisle Combe

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (22)
"We had a lovely few days in this historic house. Nothing was too much for the owners and the room was so comfortable. We loved the artwork on display in all the rooms and also the old period furniture. It all had a feeling of life some 100 years ago. The gardens were extensive and so quiet. The slightly wild look added to the atmosphere of exploring a garden from bygone years that had been left to its own devices. Would we return one day? Of course we would."

"Old World Service! This hotel knows how to treat you. Nothing was too much to ask. Great location just up the hill from the beach. Food was amazing. And, when there was no taxi to take us to the train station, Steve, the night porter drove us! All the staff were over the top; Amanda and Janice at breakfast. Can’t say enough about the level of service! Our room was lovely with a comfy bed. Beautiful grounds. Wonderful piano player at dinner. Fun to lounge at the pool in the sun and order...
