The room we were given was ok, but we had two single beds clipped together with big lump in middle. It's room that is advertised as basic double on Expedia and easily recognized. friendly (ours was a bit barky - apologies to other guests!). Room was comfortable and very clean. Dinner was good - breakfast excellent. Breakfast hostess was absolutely lovely friendly but not intrusive - a real asset to the place. Didn't much care for the bar manager but believe he was agency so will probably not be there long. Lovely area to visit and would definitely recommend this place for staying or just dining. "
