"Checked in after midnight, but no problem, and a friendly receptionist to greet us. Room was a bit grim with cobwebs and chipped paint, absolutely no soundproofing, everything could be heard from the room above. Although the bed was neatly made, the quilt cover was obviously not freshly laundered and there were black hairs on the sheet, which otherwise appeared clean. Too late to bother the nice young man on reception. "

"It was a clean pleasant hotel in an excellent location. I was disappointed that I didn’t have a window to look out of. It made the room dull. I also would have preferred a double bed rather than 2 singles pushed together. The restaurant was very good ."

"The hotel is undergoing some revamp work but the quality of the work is spot on. Amazing and clean rooms, the beds are incredibly comfortable and for myself being disabled and suffering with really bad back, neck and legs problems this was a god send as I find most hotel beds really uncomfortable. This is most certainly a hotel I will be coming back to and staying at everytime I come to the area which is often. The staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough wish I had tmfound this hotel alot sooner than where I normally stay!!"

"Avoid - overpriced, lots of add ons and service poor. Better value at other hotels nearby. Extra cost if you arrive an hour early Extra cost to use gym ( not highlighted anywhere) Slow service lunch - over 45 mins for food to arrive Breakfast was a mess - no staff - dirty tables - food low.chaotic and poor experience. "

"Our hotel room was very hot, no ac or an additional fan was available. There was mould and rust in the bathroom, the curtains had holes in them, the tv didn’t work, the tap water was cloudy so we had to buy bottled water. The pool wasn’t very nice and with no shallow end it’s not kid friendly. The breakfast was lovely, staff were nice and helpful but for a 4 star hotel it seemed in real need of an update, small changes like additional fans, a fridge in the room, sorting out mould and buying new curtains would have made a huge difference. Plus we saw a guest leave his dog’s mess in the car park, doesn’t give the place a particularly 4 star feel."

"Hotel is great location for nearby attractions. Staff where amazing helpful and always available an on hand. There was a wedding party on one of the nights an it made no difference to our stay we could not hear the party or music. The hidden gem here not only the lady who assisted us throughout who was just lovely but the food in restaurant from breakfast to dinner amazing quality and value for money we didnt eat anywhere else. Dont overlook this place grounds to sit in an all needed on site we stayed with our son who equally enjoyed. Thanks"
