"Took my daughter for a break from our caring duty for my elderly dad , the hotel was spotless , welcoming and staff were amazing and helpful , we stayed 2 nights and we have stayed in many hotels in Liverpool but I have to say the breakfast was exceptional, so much variety and so fresh , from start to finish it was amazing , we were in a courtyard room and the only small complaint was the excessive noise from either televisions or music past midnight which I did find annoying , overall I would willingly stay again , Thank you . "Hotel was stunning both inside and outside and the staff were really friendly and polite nothing was too much trouble. Bed was really comfy and breakfast was excellent would come back to stay next time we are in Chester. Great location 5 minutes from motorway and only a few minutes from city centre and the zoo which is why we visited"

"Staff are wonderful. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into town. The room was extremely hot, window only opened slightly, no A/C The bar could do with more ambience, felt a bit like an airport lounge. Maybe dim the lights, a few plants and put candles on tables. Really annoying having to pay for parking £28 for two nights, however that seems to be most English hotels in towns. Overall I would go back."
