"The Woodleigh was a very nice find for us. It is small and was ideal for our one night stay in Blackpool. Our room, on the first floor was small, with a comfortable double bed and the en-suite bathrooom, although small, was spotlessly clean. Parking outside is hit and miss, but we were lucky and were able to park right outside. While we were there, the proprietor was unable to provide a breakfast, cooked on the premises because the facilities had not been finished yet. It was not a problem for us because the hotel is a very short walk to the front of Blackpool promenade with its public transport connections to either Blackpool or Fleetwood. If we ever need an overnight B&B in Blackpool again, I would have no hesitation in staying at the Woodleigh again. Very pleasantly surprised."

"Although the Imperial is not a modern hotel and I realise it must be very hard to keep these hotels up to standard for the modern customer the hotel are doing a fine job considering the people they have to deal with. As requested by Email I filled out the arrival form before I left home with my details thinking it would be a quick check in, The lady at the desk when we reached it took all are details exactly as I Emailed . My point is why ask to check in on line if they then ask for the same details at the hotel . maybe it would cut down the queues on check in if a area could be provided at busy check in time around three o'clock. I did use the express check out box on leaving."

"Staff were exceptionally helpful The room was clean, warm & spacious with plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom was very small, but met our needs The restaurant was well managed & offered a wide choice of buffet starters & desserts & hot, nourishing, plated main courses. We only used the cafe bar once, but found it efficiently run with a wide selection of drinks, snacks & light bites. We did not use the leisure facilities this time, but we will use them in the future."
