I would definitely stay again as the staff were fantastic, especially the bar staff who went out there way to help. The bad points were that the food was very limited in the restaurant and not sure enough for all the guests, secondly on a busy weekend the bar closed early.
Stayed previously several times when it was called the Hilton. Always a superb hotel with first class food. On arrival this it was clear things had deteriorated badly. Building and windows and surrounding area looked shabby. Rooms had carpets taped together and handles loose etc. Restaurant lacked staff and choice of breakfast was really average. Real shame as it was one of my go to hotels in past, but don’t think I will be in any rush to return.
