Great location and helpful staff

This hotel is very good. It is tucked in the outskirts of Ware. The bedroom (in the attached block) was fairly small (was used as a training centre, so no need for large accommodation) but very comfortable, in fact the best nights sleep in a hotel for some time. I don’t have an evening meal here, but the breakfast was very nice, and included in the cost. Overall, highly recommend- I will stay here by choice when I next visit the area.

The farm was beautiful and the access to the land was wonderful. There's still some exploring we'd like to do, next time. The room was superb, cleanliness was at a high standard. All staff were welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place

We arrived very late after a delayed flight to Stansted. 24hour reception was very welcome & the staff were happy and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and great value for money.

This is an hotel with a few guest rooms, and a nice gastropub. The room was excellent, modern, spacious, clean, warm, tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious, clean, modern, including bath and shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.

Good sized clean room with bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a shared lounge and kitchen area too. Excellent location for Luton airport, only about 7ish minutes drive. Off road parking was helpful too. Would highly recommend for an airport stopover.

I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly.

Always have a pleasant stay here. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is very good too.

Lovely riverside location, plenty of parking, and very easy to be able to wheel luggage straight in, all on ground floor so no stairs to negotiate with cases. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Room with twin beds very comfortable, and although tis room had no window (which was made clear when I booked), this was not a problem, as very good lighting and felt spacious. Actually very cosy. Great hotel more than expection !

My daughter and I had a lovley 1 night stay here. We arrived an hour early and was able to check in and use the facilities. Friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived. Our from was nice and spacious, clean and inviting. We made use of the pool which was perfect and refreshing due to the hot weather. Lovley breakfast included. Will be booking again in the future 😊

We stayed for 3 night's, very clean hotel and room. Very friendly staff, restaurant is slightly expensive and food portions could be better. But on the whole, I wud recommend the hotel and wud definitely stay there again.
