Well maintained guest house with plenty of facilities

Stayed for a night on Sunday 23rd August. Rooms were clean and tidy. Booked interconnecting rooms and both had ample space and facilities. Didn't eat at the hotel as already arranged places for the young ones to eat. Plenty nearby to cater for all tastes. Thanks to Claudia and nikki for arranging an additional rollaway bed and extra towels. Nice break as it was a quiet corridor on the 2nd floor and no noise was heard all evening. Covid measures in place as everyone was wearing masks that we saw in the public areas. Hand sanitiser on entry and near public facilities.

This hostel was excellent for a nights sleep. Its a short walk to & from the train station, and is within walking distance to food and even a nice local town pub that serves food as well right across the street. The bus station is also within walking distance and surrounded by food and shopping. This is a hostel, not a hotel, you shouldnt expect much besides a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in for rest. The room and shower area were small, simple and clean for a hostel and perfect for a quick nights sleep. The room was a little cold(not bad) but its because its heated with an older style electric heater that pushes little heat from it and into the room. The manager was very nice and will explain anything you need him to. Would stay again if ever needed it.
