Top Valentines Hotel Reviews

Royal Garden Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent staff and responsiveness. Negative is the fitness center being out of the building, and not up to standards. Hotel location is little inconvenience if you plan on spending much time in Central London for sightseeing, theatre, restaurants etc, as this location requires expenses of ride share or taxi to everything. Underground stations not nearby when considering weather conditions."

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle
6/10 Okay
"Location is very good but the hotel itself is overdue a refurbishment. Broken heating, cracked wash basin and chipped bath. "

Point A Hotel London Kings Cross – St Pancras
8/10 Good
"Generally a nice place. Have stayed before. The room I got this time for two adults was, for us, too small. The double bed was up against the wall on one side and my partner needed to climb over me to get out. I do not feel it should have been sold as a room for two adults.
The heating/air con didn't work even though I reported it.
Breakfast music is too loud but breakfast itself is decent. 5 mins walk from Kings Cross. "

Yotel London City
8/10 Good
"The location was excellent. We were going to Fabric club which less than 5 mins walk away. The bed was comfortable "

Mitre House Hotel
8/10 Good
"The property is close to plenty of restaurants and cafes. It is easily accessed from Waterloo station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. "

The Royal Horseguards, London
10/10 Excellent
"Great location and staff"

Park Plaza London Riverbank
10/10 Excellent

Strand Palace Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel, unbeatable location, and truly wonderful staff.
The building itself is stunning — elegant architecture, beautifully maintained, and full of character. The location couldn’t be better: just steps from the Tube and a short stroll to Covent Garden Market, with endless food, shops, and people-watching opportunities right at your doorstep.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Yes, London rooms tend to be on the cozier side, but there was more than enough space to move around without performing suitcase gymnastics. Despite being on a busy street, we heard absolutely no outside noise — which felt like a small miracle in central London. We could occasionally hear the adjacent room through the (locked) adjoining door, but since we spent most of our days out exploring and crashed into bed happily exhausted at night, it was hardly an issue.
Breakfast was exceptional — a wide variety of options and a team that made mornings feel genuinely welcoming (not always easy before coffee!).
I was celebrating my birthday, and Jean Claude at reception went above and beyond to make it extra special with a thoughtful treat waiting in our room. That kind of personal touch makes all the difference.
We would absolutely stay here again when we return — which, after this trip, will hopefully be very soon."

Sea Containers London
10/10 Excellent
"This was our second time at the Sea Containers. We love this beautiful hotel, welcoming and very well located. Our room was super clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend it. "
