"Room clean as usual, just one thing, the bathroom shower screen could do with a clean. Cooked breakfast was huge!! Good choice on the menu. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to help. Parking was ok. "

We’re surrounded by Michelin starred spots at home, yet The Grosvenor’s food doesn’t just keep up…. it outshines so many of the places on our doorstep. Dinner was beautiful, breakfast was a delight, and the coffee was pure happiness in a cup. Every member of staff was warm and lovely, the bed felt like sinking into a hug, and all the little touches were so thoughtfully and beautifully done. My only complaint was that we couldn’t stay there another night!"

"Friendly helpful staff, lovely ambience, no problem with late night return (from a party), comfy beds, great breakfast and nice village. Only criticism was slightly ageing (noisy) extractor fan in bathroom and ancient double glazing arrangement made opening a window quite a task. But all in all an excellent stay."

"January is not the usual time to take a break, but this was the perfect place. The studio was warm, beautifully designed, clean, well-equipped and very peaceful. We also enjoyed the birds singing in the mornings, the lovely setting in a village full of thatched cottages and a chalk stream running alongside the road. We felt very welcomed by the owners."
