"Very friendly welcome and a lovely room. The staff were so helpful and the cooked breakfasts were excellent. But the DJ night didn't finish at 11 as the in-room message said it would (midnight, then bar noise for another while) ; the fire alarm went off the next night (quickly cancelled so clearly accidentally) but then you could hear furniture being moved around in the bar/cafe in the small hours... I guess for cleaning. I'd recommend taking earplugs. "

The room we had was on the smaller side as was the bathroom, the bed was good, perhaps a little firm for my taste. The only issue I had with this place was the lack of a coffee machine in the room and no ice machines on the lobby."

"The room was a little dated, lovely corner bath but the jets weren’t working on it, no shower in the room which would have been handy. Lovely 4 poster bed, but the mattress was way too soft. Restaurant was lovely and the quality of the food was great. We used the spa and the gym the following day, the spa was very modern, great facilities and very clean."
