If you are looking for a safe secure location close to all major amenities. This place is ideal very clean and the staff are very friendly indeed,parking right outside so you don't have to walk far to get to your vehicle. Will definitely be booking another stay in the near future.

A great property with leisure facilities and parking close to Durham (<10 minute drive or park and ride opposite carriageway) Room was lovely but surprised no air conditioning or fridge and it did get a little hot overnight

I stayed here for work. Booked a family room but was changed to an exec room as I was traveling alone. The hotel was very centeral to jesmond, spotlessly clean and staff friendly. My colleagues room seemed a little more dated so i would recommend you opt for the exec rooms. Breakfast was included and whilst a few items where missing and not replaced there was a good choice. Overall i was very impressed.

The central location was fantastic as well as being able to leave your bags after checkout.

this is a great option for a visit to Durham if you are prepared to stay outside of the city. Best value for money I have experienced in a long time . Breakfast fantastic something you would pay in excess of £12 in other accommodation Sonia and the rest of her staff are very welcoming . There is only one place I will be staying should I visit the area in the future

Excellent location and really comfy bed. The room has everything you need all in convenient places. Next to train station but just out of the way of street noise and staff are very helpful and friendly.

Comfortable stay. Room moderna dn clean. Not too far from bars/restaurants. Drink prices quite expensive at the hotel. Hotel parking limited

Had a great stay here, spacious bedroom overlooking the countryside in a quiet location. Enjoyed the food and great atmosphere in the pub.

Lovely spacious room for a great price ideally located

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. It's above a bar but there was no noise. Great location. Second time I stayed here - 1st room was a standard double and it was "snug" but fine for me on my own. This time I stayed in a superior and it was massive - have requested the same room when I go back for my 3rd stay in one month's time! Both bathrooms seemed to have been newly refurbished. The pillows are a bit thin and hard so next time I'll chuck my pillows from home in the car with me!

I enjoyed my short stay at the Winsor due to the very pleasant attitude of the staff who delt with me. The room & the facilities were very clean, i would certainly recommend the Winsor Hotel to any of my friends & famiily.
