"Room was available before check in time which was great. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly. Unfortunately there was no one manning the bar around 7.15pm on Saturday for 30minutes due to staff break. Made no sense why one of the other staff could not cover the break. Bar became very busy around 11pm and the poor staff were over run. "

I have to say i didn't know what to expect with the photos on hotels.com- i thought it might be a bit tired but it's absolutely not. It's lovely, modern, smells amazing, has a phenomenal outside firepit bit, lovely bar and restaurant and is perfectly placed for Stratford- we didn't use the car the whole time we were there. It's amazing. Can't recommend it enough. Just perfect. "

"All was ok until dinner ,,, it wasn’t stated about a Buffett when booked up and paid for . It was a 3 course meal !!! Still had to pay the sumplerment for a steak ! Staff was very friendly and tried to sort out this issue . "

"Amazing property with room furnished in Jacobean style , beautiful grounds and only 30 min walk into the centre of Stratford through a lovely hiking path. The spa was very clean with 2 beautiful jacuzzis and the service at dinner and breakfast was impeccable! Great English breakfast also with fruits , yogurt and cereals options . I cannot recommend it enough and already planning my next trip here with friends . Thank you all for the beautiful stay . "

"We have visited this hotel many times before, and it has been amazing., unfortunately this time round was a different story. Communication was poor, we had booked a suite as a treat for Easter, part of this package was VIP parking, when we arrived the car park was closed, no email, no message on the Expedia chat with the hotel. We parked in the multi-story which was fine, the next day we were informed that the car park was now open, we moved the car only to be sent back by security who informed us the car park was not available, just kept getting sent back to the multi-story, the front desk had no idea. The room was fine, bit run down and shabby; robes in the room dirty with fake tan, although the espa products were a nice touch. Mini bar was another perk of the room, however we had to chase to get it replenished! Had dinner in the sky lounge, again dirty floors, a quick carpet sweeper would have fixed that but the staff were using a broom on the carpet which wasn’t doing anything. Main course arrived before the starter, but that got fixed eventually. We were overcharged on the bill and this needed correcting, it just felt that the staff did not communicate with each other! Casino bar used to be the place to go for a nice G&T however we were told, they don’t do that anymore and they don’t have a drinks menu? We left… The high line bar was a nice new edition, live music, good staff, although my wine was corked! Overall a poor experience!"
