"This place was one of the worst properties we visited while in England. Lets start with the rooms, the AC didnt work and the shower leaked all over the floor and ruined our luggage. You could tell this is an on going issue because the base boards were all swollen up and in bad shape. No wash clothes in the room either. The lifts are dangerous, the lift starts moving before the door is closed. We had to pay an additional 15 pounds for breakfast per person. Our dinner at the restaurant was also terrible, over priced and our food was terrible. "

The room was well appointed with everything you could need. Plenty of space for two people. We didn’t really need the kitchenette as we were eating out but the coffee machine was nice. "

The rooms at Nira Caledonia are sumptious, historic and chock full of amenities, including lovely jetted tubs and french bath supplies. The staff is always ready to help you get what you need. The location is outside of the City Centre, but there are many fabulous restaurants near-by and the Royal Mile is only a 10 min ride or a 25 min walk away. We found getting a taxi or ride share to the Museum on the Mound made for a convenient drop off point. "
