"Lovely accommodation next door to the inn on the green pub. Living space was very well thought out, lovely decor and very well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms were all comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space and the showers were all great. Only suggestion would be to add some towel hooks in the downstairs en-suite as this didn’t have a towel rail. "On the one hand, this place needs a makeover. It's dated and needs some sprucing up. However, the place is super comfortable, the English breakfast is amazing, and the location is awesome. The staff was amazing, they helped us through a rough car rental issue. Great place to stay for one or two nights and get to know York."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is perfectly situated by the river, which was lovely for morning walks. We upgraded to a suite, which was spacious, well designed, and thoughtfully appointed. The bed was super comfortable, too. Our shower was a little slow to drain, but the staff responded to the issue quickly and with great professionalism, which we really appreciated. There’s a restaurant on site, a bar that stays open late, a gym, and a small indoor pool that can be booked for a private session. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again."
